Hello, my name is James Davis and I am the creator
of the 50 Filter. I have been a Mechanical
Contractor (H.V.A.C.R.) for the past 26 years and
for all of my life a car enthusiast. My personal
ride is a 1988 5.0 Mustang. When I started a
major restoration on my Mustang I removed the
AC/Heater case assembly. When I removed the evaporator coil
it was dirty and had a lot of leafs and debris in it
and I replaced it only 14 months ago! The heater
core wasn’t as bad but it still had a lot of finer
particulate in it. I needed to order a cabin
filter. When I called the Ford dealership to order
one they said that some of the 2005 and up vehicles
have a cabin filter but previous to that Ford did
not use them. I looked to the aftermarket to try
and find one with no luck. Can you guess the rest?
That’s when I came up with the 50 Filter.
I
made it easy to install and the filter will last at
least 5 years or more.
The 50 Filter has been tested in my car, and my
friend’s cars, for the past 18 months and there have
been no problems with the kit or the components.
I
can’t stress enough what a huge undertaking it is to
remove the AC/Heater case assembly to replace the
heater core or an evaporator coil. If you have
already done this, you know exactly what I mean.
That’s why it is so important to install a cabin
filter to drastically reduce dirt and debris into
the evaporator coil. If you have already repaired
or replaced your A/C System this filter is a must
have to Safeguard your Mustangs A/C System. Make
sure you always run your air conditioning system in
the max mode. Running the system in the normal mode
opens the outside air door and lets in hot air,
odors, debris and reduces the capacity of the
system.
I
hope you enjoy the 50 Filter, and more importantly,
enjoy a clean heating and cooling system.
Thanks for reading and best of luck. |
